Migrants’ rights advocate Dora Rodriguez visits photographer Tom Kiefer at his studio in Ajo, Arizona and shares her story of crossing the US-Mexico border as a nineteen-year-old in 1980. Rodriguez goes through his collection of items, once belonging to migrants, that were seized and discarded at the border, and gives context and meaning to many of them through the lens of her experience.
